Event: Sustainability

Participants: FS students

Activity: Children decorated their own eco-friendly bag and planted seeds to grow their own plants.

Goal: With the goal of instilling in very young minds, the importance of taking care of the environment, the FS students planted their own food plants, grew them, and took care of them over the past few weeks. They also unleashed their creative side as they decorated old shopping bags to make them look new and nice. 

Learning Outcome: The students recognized the small steps that could be taken to make life on Mother Earth sustainable for generations to come.
